A massive protest rally at the Khumlwng on Wednesday opposing the bill followed by 8 hours long protest held on Tuesday led by Rajmata (Royal Queen) of Tripura. At the same time, huge resentments have been fueled against two IPFT top leaders holding Ministry in BJP-IPFT Govt led cabinet N C Debbarma and Mebar Jamatia as they denied to speak against BJP even after all Tiprasa section demanded their resignations from Ministry on BJP’s divisive policy and citizenship bill. With a shocking development it has been known that IPFT President Minister NC Debbarma who has been acting like BJP’s puppet since he assumed Ministerial post warned all his activists and indigenous people not to conduct such a rally against the Govt. He further slammed West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee alleging under her regime multiple corruptions took place and she is “experienced to scams†adding, “I don’t want such experience which teaches scamsâ€. It can be mentioned here already Tripura Law Dept and CM’s departments have exposed with major scams in recruitment. 10 BJP youths were recruited in Secretariat under Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s recommendation. Unemployment toll spiking up : Biplab De | AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday while addressing at Vivekanada Bayamagar said that “Giving everyone job is not possible, but Govt’s work is to keep the hope alive and make positive attitude among youthsâ€. When Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues to claim on making Tripura as “model state†in 3 years, but the reality after 10 months shows Govt’s direction is at the opposite of such promises. When already when Tripura was suffering from massive unemployment, with the BJP-IPFT Govt came in power recruitments’ doors were almost shutdown and unemployed youths were arrested, threatened to keep restrain from any type of protest. Also under Biplab Deb Govt for the first time in Tripura’s history unemployed youths were arrested, legal notices were sent against them after protest. In this condition unemployment rate has reached at 28.8% whereas in a brutal move, all ongoing recruitments were cancelled, regardless, Govt sectors and TPSC led interviews. Almost a year has been crossed amid nil-recruitment. Even though few teachers were recruited but less in number in compare to other years, but permanently the hopes of recruitment has been banished through an official press release by the Finance Dept.Education dept was showcaused by Finance Dept why recruitments were done. | 26-Jan-2019 |
