AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): 21 Sector Assam Rifles organized a series of events to commemorate 70th Republic Day. Flag Hoisting was carried out by Brig Ashwini Nayyar Commander 21 Sector Assam Rifles at Kunjaban. Motivational workshops, Weapon and Band Display were organized at Agartala, Udaipur and Radhanagar on 26 Jan 19. A large number of Schools and Colleges alongwith locals participated in the events.

 Rich history and traditions of Armed Forces were show cased during the event. Assam Rifles and Assam Rifles Public School Contingent participated in the state level parade organized at Agartala apart from participation in District level celebrations at Khowai, Udaipur and Bagbassa.
