UDAIPUR, Aug 13 (TIWN): 206 students were awarded with Medha Anwesha title on Sunday at Rajarshi Kalakshetra of Udaipur subdivision with the initiative of Bidhan Sishu Udyan.

Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Sports Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, MLA Ramapada Jamatia, Ex-Vice chancellor of Tripura University Arunodoy Saha were present in that programme.

Udaipur English Medium School has performed best with 32 awards.

While addressing in the gathering, Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said that Education and Health both are important to the state govt.

"School is not a place of Politics. Quality Education is our Govt's main target", he said.

Sports Minister Manoj Kanti Deb however asked students to give equal importance to sports along with studies.
