AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb once again added unnecessary controversies with his speech saying, “I don’t believe Kolkata people know better than us. We know more than them”.

CM said this on Tuesday while addressing in a blood donation camp organized by Ekata Club at Agartala.

“I don’t want to criticize anybody but we developed a trend to settle down in Kolkata. We think that Kolkata is a better place, people there know more than us…..Mai Nehi Manta (I don’t believe). We are better than them”, CM said.

The Chief Minister was referring about Feni river bridge and said as soon as Feni river will be the opened, no more Assam will be considered as Gateway of Northeast, rather Tripura will be the gateway. 

“Without Agartala, Northeast can not developed”, CM added.
