Agartala, Aug 15 (TIWN): Among Tripura's Police medal winners list released on the eve of Independence Day, no names of dynamic & dedicated officials like IPS officer Abhijit Saptarshi or other sharp officers can be found.

Instead State cadre to IPS nominated officers like Arimdam Nath who is known more for writing poems & stories during office hours, also published books, even verbally cautioned various times by former DGPs for ignoring Police work.  Now same DIG Arindam Nath made an entry as an awardee for President's Police Medal. 

Nothing changed in BJP era as CPI-M era's all bootlicker officials continue to receive patronage under Biplab Deb's era.

Also Ila Deb's Police medal caused much discomfort among officials as various allegations are raised against Ila Deb.

Noteworthy, Arindam Nath was chosen to bag the President’s medal, whereas for police medal Pradyut Ch. Dutta, Partha Chakraborty, Dipendra Das, Ila Deb, Inspector Bijoy Sen, Sajal Bhowmik, Pradip Roy, Krishna Chandra Das have been selected.
