Tripura Assembly Election : '59 counting | AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): CEO Sriram Taranikanti has announced, there will be total 59 counting halls during March 3rd's vote-counting. Tripura's crucial Assembly Election was conducted on March 18 with a rush of voters waiting in queues after 12 PM in few constituencies and one day after the election the final voting rate was announced as 89.96 %. Taranikanti said, "There are 59 counting halls across Tripura, even though the number of counting halls were supposed to be 60. But on the polling day, when Taranikanti was addressing to media at 9 PM, he clearly said that the record was of till-9 PM, which created all the confusions as press was writing according to the CEO's given information.CEO now said, "I told you that till 3 PM we could collect the normal data but from 4 O'Clock onwards we started to collect information. From multiple sources we were collecting the information. Some of them were giving data of 4 o'clock, some 3.45 PM and sometimes somebody might had given information of 5.30 PM also and with all those the percentage was 79.52 %.
