AGARTALA / AMARPUR/ UDAIPUR, Feb 22 (TIWN): After 48 hours of the widow-assaulting incident at Mailak Village of Amarpur, with media's pressure even though Tripura Women Commission Chief Manika Datta Roy reached at Maharani Hospital of Udaipur where victim Pramila Debnath has been admitted by her parents since Tuesday, but how far action will be taken against the culprit-women-force of Mailak village it's under cloud. The notorious women of Mailak village can't be called anymore accused as their animal activity against the widow has become viral, who not only beat the widow woman from head to feet but snatched her body's clothes. But surprisingly, the VVIP women leader cum Women Commission's Chief Manik Datta Roy after meeting the victim at Maharani hospital told media, "Whatever was done with her, it's not correct, but why police were silent it's to be seen. I think as the police were male, so they didn't take action against females".

After Manka Datta Roy's reaction to the media, questions raising : 

1. Being the Chief of Women Commission, instead of attacking the police force sharply, why she is trying save the arrogant police force, who said on the day of the incident 'Why she was beaten it should be seen' !

2. Why suspension demand of OC  Dulal Das was not raised by the Women Commission Chief ?

3. Why was Manika Datta Roy afraid to utter sharp against villagers, torturers and silent police force ?

4. The torture against the widow continued for an hour. Why Police didn't call women police force immediately ?

5. Why it took 48 hours for Manika Datta Roy to visit there ?

6. Why it takes 2 days with big-big headlines published print media to push the Women Commission chief to be bothered about the victim ?

7. Why till day Women Commission representatives haven't met the Sonamura victim in a recent incident, whose hair were cut and who was mass beaten by tying her with ropes , terming her as 'Characterless' ? Because, media's focus was on the election and Women Commission could skip the incident ?

TIWN has termed the incident as even worse than 'Mahabharat's episode with Draupadi', but no political party was shocked by the incident.

Even after the video became viral, where police personnel were standing during the incident, no suo-moto case was filed by police. At last the victim had filed a case in Birganj Women Police Station on yesterday, but nobody yet has been arrested.

But Pramila today has begged the Women Commission chief for "Justice to her". Now, it's to be seen what action is taken against the culprits as already 3 days have been passed.
