Tripura ranks 25th in GDP rate among all states, but better performs than Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh

AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Tripura in the national ranking of GDP rate stands 25th among all the 36 Indian states and Union Territories. However, the GDP which was shown in the national record they vary in years. For few states, when the GDP rate was shown with the latest 2017-18's record, in case of Tripura there was no update after 2014-15. But when Tripura is ranking 25 the five more Northeast states Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Aruncachal Pradesh. These 5 states are ranking below Tripura in GDP rate. Tripura’s GDP rate has been shown as 29,666 crore according to 2014-15 ranks 25. Meghalya’s GDP is Rs. 9,567 crore with 2016-17’s data, ranks 26.Arunachal Pradesh’s GDP is Rs. 19,492 crore ranks 28 according to 2015–16. Manipur ranks 29, with GDP rate is Rs. 18,042 crore (2014–15).

Nagaland ranks 30, with GDP rate is Rs.17,727 crore also a data of 2014–15., Mizoram 32 with GDP is Rs. 17,561 crore with latest record of 2017-18.

Assam ranks 19 with Rs. 2.58 lakh crore’s GDP, which is highest in Northeast, but the updated year is 2017-18.

The highest GDP holder state is Maharashtra. After Maharashtra UP, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat are the rankers.
