City Crimes on Rise: Deadly Attack on Ba | AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): An FIR was lodged on Sunday against a retired police official and his brother for conducting a deadly attack on High Court Advocate and his mother in the Kamalghat area in Agartala. The injured Advocate Rajib Dhar was doing some construction work when the retired constable Joymohan Das and his brother Harimohan Das came and claimed, the work was illegal. When Rajib Dhar argued, they held attack on him with stick. They hit him three times, and when Rajib Dhar’s mother Sandhya Dhar rushed to save her son, they also attacked her with a steel rod. After the incident, Sandhya Dhar was left unconscious. Police complaint was made and both the injured son and mother were hospitalized. Ambulance Crisis in Tripura Govt Hospita | BISHALGARH, May 29 (TIWN): Tension erupted at Bishalgarh sub-divisional hospital on Saturday evening over ambulance crisis after two accident patients were referred to Agartala GB hospital but could not be transported for long due to ambulance crisis. A 38 years old man Litan Das who was on the way to Agartala from East Gokulnagar in his bike bearing number TR01L6014 hit a pedestrian Rajib Debbarma at the Gate No-2. In that incident both Litan Das and Rajib Debbarma were injured. Fire Brigade team rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to the hospital and both were referred to GB hospital but problem started when the hospital offered one ambulance for two critical patients.
