According to the details of the incident, Hrishikesh set off on a bike to reach Khowai from Padmabil around 9.30 am on Tuesday. At that moment, the escort car of Khowai district police went behind and hit him. Immediately he fell off his bike. 

After the incident, locals rushed him to Khowai District Hospital in a critical condition. Hrishikesh sustained severe head and face injuries in the accident. Doctors referred him to GB Hospital after initial treatment. Eye witnesses said that the driver of the escort car lost control and hit the bike. This incident created anger among the common people in Padmabil area.
