GANDACHERA, May 27 (TIWN): SPO Jawans live in miserable state at Gandachera subdivision’s Laxmipur ADC village’s Krishnapur SPO camp. Negligence of the Home Department has been alleged.
Due to Govt’s negligence, the SPO Jawans are forced to live amid extreme weather. Either its hit summer or monsoon, there is no comfort for the SPO Jawans and forced to live like animals inside the camp.
Power cut, long shutdowns, severe drinking water crisis have turned the lives miserable.
Total 4 Jawans are residing in the camp and they all are armless. Keeping everyday one SPO in the camp, the three jawans are taken to the main office for duty and they have to travel by walking and after duty, again no vehicle is provided, led them to walk on foot, just like slaves.
Resentment has brewed among the jawans there. Food and drinking water crisis continue to haunt them.
