AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): TET Qualified unemployed youths gathered at Education Director’s office seeking immediate recruitments. Tripura Govt is mysteriously delaying the recruitment of teachers when there is no election period and after a few months, all recruitments will be stopped due to Elections. Amid such conditions, when over 3,500 candidates are jobless even after passing TET, they have gathered at Education Minister’s home seeking appointments. The unemployed youths demanded immediate recruitment so that they can join in their profession.
Addressing media, a job aspirant said, “We have met the Education Minister 5 to 6 times but though unfortunate but true that we did not get any positive outcome from the Education Minister. He is saying various things. Sometimes, he is saying that before Durga puja appointments will be given and now he is saying, what can he do if the Finance Dept does not give permission”.
“Tripura Govt showing 12000 vacant posts had conducted TET exams with relaxations, where only 1194 persons had passed. Why doesn’t the Govt fulfill those posts? Teachers’ numbers have drastically drained. We are more than 3,500 sitting jobless but no initiative is being taken to recruit us”, said TET teachers.
