AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Theft incidents are on rise in Teliamura for last few months. Day after day, on the outskirts of Teliamura town, i.e. at the tip of the nose of the Teliamura police station, thieves are looting common people but police and administration has not taken any prominent step to control the situation. In yet another incident, taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, a group of thieves looted one house in the dark of night. The incident took place in Rajnagar area under Teliamura police station on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the owner of the house after returning noticed the incident and immediately reported the incident to Teliamura police station. It is learned that Shefali Das, the owner of the house, has been staying in Agartala for a long time for the treatment of her family members.
