AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Before 1 month 10323 teachers staged protest under a 'Joint Forum' seeking relief from bank loan interests. On that time one of the terminated 10323 teachers had committed suicide due to loan burdens, triggered massive resentment among his colleagues. But after protests and talking to authority also, no relief was given and guranaters accounts are seized led the teachers to raise voice again today before the Gramin Bank Headquarter authority. On October 3rd, CM Biplab Deb also had promised to check the matter but no statement was given by him also. Tensions have been escalated across 10323 teachers families' who are in jobless situation for last 9 months under Supreme Court's order and the tensions are being fueled with Banks are pressuring them for loan interests. On being asked, 10323 teacher Dalia Das said that around 70% to 75% teachers had taken loans during their service period.

In this situation there is a massive dragging of dialogues between the ruling BJP Govt and the terminated teachers because the BJP since from 2018 Assembly Election season had promised the teachers to save their livelihoods with a permanent solution if BJP voted to power. But in 2020, 31st March as per law although the teachers lost their jobs but the Govt could not save their livelihoods as per the promises.
