AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): In his first ever press conference aftermath "Biplab Hatao" movement in Tripura, where thousands of Kariyakartas, 28 MLAs raised slogan against him seeking his immediate removal. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday has broke down in cries asking people to give their opinion whether he should remain CM or not ...begged to support to him in Astabal Stadium on 13th December. Addressing media at the Civil Secretariat, CM Biplab Deb said, "I was shocked and hurt by the move against me with slogans of Biplab Bachao.......I think my one and only problem is that I work hard. I want people to tell me whether they want me in CM post or they don't want me".

"The statement of 37 lakhs Tripura persons are important for me, not the few people who are saying".

"I tried to work for Tripura and brought National Highway projects. I would not tolerate drug empire in my state and to 10323 teachers, I will tell them to focus on upcoming examinations instead of sitting in dharna", said Deb.

He shed tears and almost broke down while addressing the press meet. He challenged if he does not get support he will quit Chief Minister's post and to testify his position, CM has called a rally in Astabal stadium. However, first time it is happening in Tripura that a Chief Minister has called rally to prove strength against his own party leaders.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb in last 33 months has not only turned a 'laughing stock' for the netizens using social media due to his motormouth's illogical statements, but his tortures and impractical decisions, insults to MLAs, Ministers have blasted on December 6 in massive revolt inside the Party today. The infighting was going inside the party but today explored dramatically.  Now to prove his support, he said that he will hoist a rally on 13th December, 2 PM and that day will prove whether public support is with him or not.  At 33 months of the BJP Govt in Tripura where the whole cabinet was controlled by Biplab Deb and Minister Ratanlal Nath alone, initiated a dangerous step by removing Sudip Roy Barman like political giant of Tripura from the cabinet. It happened in 2019 which totally demoralized the party and the issue did not stop there but Biplab Deb attempted to impose legal actions against Sudip Barman.  Not only Sudip Barman but Sunil Deodhar who was the previous Incharge of Tripura BJP left Tripura due to Biplab Deb's attitude. Survey says, highest percentage of of IAS, IPS officers voluntary retirement also happened under Biplab Deb's regime.

Today, with "Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao" slogan, State Guest House was rocked in the presence of BJP Tripura new Incharge Vinod Shonkar. After the meeting with Vindo Shonkar held, MLA Ram Prasad Pal told his kariyakartas that they have to find out the enemies of BJP inside the BJP party.  BJP's new incharge Vinod Shonkar on Sunday received major jolts from the party after party's infighting was blasted in the State Guest House where thousands of Kariyakartas raised "Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao" slogan, seeking immediate replacement of Biplab Deb.

The BJP workers directly told the Incharge that they support Sudip Roy Barman and if party is given up to Biplab Deb then, it will be soon unseated and BJP will never come back in Tripura. Understanding the dept of anger of the kariyakartas, Shonkar calling a press conference in BJP Party headquarter has said, "There is a communication gap between the Leaders and the Kariyakartas. BJP is a party of Kariyakartas but somewhere the voice of the Kariyakartas was unheard. But it was my first visit but now I will be visiting regularly here".
