In Mungiakami villagers were bound sit on road blocking vehicles demanding immediate stop in the violence. Till now at least three killed, more than two hundred people injured in post poll violence in Tripura. This time, at Khayerpur one 20 years old boy Suman Das was killed in a brutal mob-violence on Sunday evening. The deceased family members and his friends said, inspite of being BJP supporter, his own party friends have killed him. Already more two died in BJP’s internal clash. Three of the deceased belong to the ruling party and killed in internal clash.Across Tripura massive tensions are going on. 5000 contractual Govt employees terminat | AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): An estimated 3.2 crore casual labourers lost their jobs in rural India between 2011-12 and 2017-18, a 29.2 per cent slide over the previous survey. Of these, almost 3 crore were those working on farms. This translates to an over 40 per cent shrinkage in the casual farm labour workforce since 2011-12, according to the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) 2017-2018 report by NSSO which the government has declined to release. Casual labour refers to those employed from time to time according to exigencies of work. In case of Tripura, BJP promised to give 50000 jobs in the first year whereas the rate of unemployment has drastically increased in last 1 year.
