Rather than taking any steps to improve the condition of National Highway to smoothen the petrol supply in the state CM Manik Sarkar has enforced odd-even fuel distribution system in the state. Crisis of essential commodities especially petrol and diesel has turned havoc in the state. The prolonged crisis is reported from different corners of the state. On the one hand the common people are suffering from acute petrol and diesel crisis but the authority is reluctant to take any initiative. It is alleged that one-man rule by CM Manik Sarkar has turned massacre in the state for the common people. Will Petrol crisis continue upto 9th Aug | AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Acute crisis of petrol continues across the state - from Dharmanagar to Sabroom. On Thursday from very early , even from 4 at dawn bikers, car divers and owners started to stand in queue in front of petrol pumps . As the trend shows it seems that even the crisis may continue upto mid-August. Interestingly TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to come to Tripura on 9th of August to address a political rally at Agartala. This will be the first time that Mamata will address rally in Tripura after a group of Congress MLA's along with thousands of workers joined TMC in recent months. As of now it seems that if this petrol a diesel crisis continues it will be tough for the TMC to arrange mass gathering in this programme because the arrangement of vehicles for the supporters from different parts of the state won't be very easy. A section of TMC leadership too is concerned with the recent developments across the state. It is to be mentioned here that TMC is scheduled to hold bike rallies across the state on the 4th and 5th August in support of the campaign of Mamta's 9th August rally. Amidst series of confusions Transport Mi | AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Setting aside all the tantrums related to the inauguration of Agartala- Delhi BG express train, Transport Minister Manik Dey confirmed the inauguration of Agartala-Delhi express train by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on July 31, which falls on Sunday. Talking to TIWN correspondent on Thursday evening , Transport Minister Manik Dey further said that the inauguration program will begin from 12 in the afternoon and will continue for one and half an hour. It is to be mentioned here that on the same day the foundation stone for the Indo-Bangla rail link will also be laid.
