Police Uniform is in Wrong Hands : Polic | DHARMANAGAR, July 26 (TIWN): A police personnel involved in drug dealing was arrested. He was immediately suspended from the job. The police constable is involved in the smuggling activities of the North Tripura. On Friday, at least 10,000 banned Yaba tablets were caught in the police net. The police of Dharmanagar police station arrested the accused constable from Damchara area late on Thursday night. The arrested constable's name is Santosh Shil. He was appointed in Damchara police station and for a long time he was operating this illegal work under the shelter of the police uniform. Union Budget 2024 : ‘1.52 lakh crore f | NEW DELHI, July 23 (TIWN): Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2024-25 in Parliament today. Nirmala Sitharaman said that a strategy is being put in place to achieve ‘atmanirbharta’ for oil seeds such as mustard, groundnut, sesame, soybean, and sunflower, as announced in the interim Budget. The Finance Minister added that large scale clusters for vegetable production will be developed closer to major consumption centres.
