‘Hospitals Need Beds, Class Rooms Need | AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): BJP led State Govt of Tripura presented 2023-24 Budget with an outlay of Rs 27,654.40 crore, with around Rs 5,358.70 crore allocated for capital expenditure.Reacting over the Budget 2023-24 and budget amount allocated for the development, Opposition Leader Animesh Debbarma said, the budget is not enough to cover Tripura’s problems and bring development. Rubbishing the claim that budget was hiked, Animesh Debbarma said, “A little amount was hiked but that’s not enough.GB Hospitals and other hospitals need more building. BJP Vs. BJP over ‘Commission’ : FIR | AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Allegation raised against BJP Juba Morcha Pratapgarh Mandal President and four others for attacking BJP supporter’s house at Ghosh Para, Aralia. The cause of the attack could not be known. An FIR was lodged in East Agartala Police Station against the BJP leaders named: 1) Krishalaya Ghosh, 2) Diptanu Sharma, 3) Manish Chakraborty, 4) Debabrata Sutradhar, 5) Binoy Debnath. The FIR was lodged by the wife of Sujit Ghosh whose house was attacked. She and her minor daughter both were allegedly physically attacked by the BJP members. She said, over hundred people attacked her house in search of her husband. They looted the house and searched each corner of the house for Sujit Ghosh. Gold ornament was looted by the miscreants. Rs. 1756 Crore Secured for Health Servic | AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Amid rising demands for more quality health services in Tripura, Tripura Govt has laid a plan for Rs. 1765 crores budget allocation to develop health services. During budget placement, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said, “Eleven Health and Wellness Centers will be constructed in Bruresettlement locations at North, Dhalai and Gomati Districts. Maharani PHC, Madhupur PHC and Bishramganj PHC will be upgraded to CHC level in 2023-24. Two new PHCs will be constructed at Nitya Bazar and Durpabari. Five new PHC buildings will be inaugurated at Anandanagar, Bamutia, Taibandal, Dayarampara and Niharnagar. Clash Over Land, 1 Died : Congress, BJP | KAILASHAHAR, July 6 (TIWN): Finally, after nearly three months, the Upa-Pradhan of the Congress-run village panchayat, along with other members of the panchayat, surrendered to the Irani police station in Kailasahar. Four Iranians surrendered to the police on Thursday afternoon, July 6. The four who surrendered are Congress-run Yuvraj Nagar Gram Panchayat Upa-Pradhan Sharif Ali, Yuvraj Nagar Gram Panchayat's two panchayat members Atiq Ali, Zayed Ali and Basrat Ali. It may be noted that Basrat Ali's wife is an elected panchayat member of the BJP party of Yuvraj Nagar Gram Panchayat. Cabinet Decision : Relief for Tripura Jo | AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): In a major relief for the job aspirants in Tripura, cabinet has made a decision to include Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) as a mandatory requirement for job appointments that will be done via State Govt directly. After the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury informed media that to take the decision, Law Dept’s permission was needed as it was a complicated issue.
