This rally was organized by the Tafashili-unit, that's the Dalit unit led by former Minister, MLA Ratan Bhowmik and MLA Sudhan Das. Talking to media, MLA Sudhan Das said, "Demanding proper financial helps for poor, we wrote CM Biplab Deb on May 7. In July month, we held protests but no solution came out as no step was taken by the Govt. We are bound to hold this protest. This unprepared Lockdown due to COVID-19, 15 crores of people lost their livelihood. We demanded Rs. 7,500 for the poor and free food at 10 kg for 6 months but nothing was done". Sarkar Nursing Home's failed Operation C | AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Tension-triggering case in Agartala private nursing home "Sarkar Nursing Home", where a woman after gallbladder operation left in serious condition has triggered much resentments. Patient party has sought punishment to the nursing home. Subarata Das, husband of patient Gouri Deb requested people of the state to think deeply before they take their family members to any private hospital of Tripura, where in exchange of huge amounts, they may purchase death of their beloved one. He has sought strict action against Sarkar Nursing home. Now, they are trying to shift the patient to other state's hospital amid ventilation although a Doctor in TMC has expressed concerns in a telephonic conversation about flight journey of a ventilation patient, but as no option left to the patient party they are trying to shift her to better hospital. After failed operation in Sarkar nursing home, she was taken to TMC but there based on COVID positive report (antigen test) she was shifted to COVID centre but later, she was found negative. AGMC Professors Transferred to other Hos | AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Although earlier, in a High court verdict it was said that AGMC professors would not be sent in deputation or transfer in hospitals but once again, Biplab Deb Govt has announced war against senior Doctors and issued a forceful transfer order. The senior Doctors who are Medical College professors and fall under Education Dept, are served with transfer orders which has not only raised question on the logic of the transfer but also questioned on the GB hospital services. 38 years old woman on verges of death af | AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): A patient named Gouri Deb, resident of Jirania is now on verges of death after gallbladder operation and breathing problems. She was taken to Tripura Medical College, Hapania but due to COVID positive, negative led confusions she was sent to GB COVID centre. Sources told TIWN, TMC hospital's condition is very pathetic under junior Doctors as the main senior Doctor and Super Dr. Arindam Dutta is in quarantine and only Junior Doctors are controlling everything. The ICU of TMC is left almost empty and any patient is going there are hardly retuning alive at high cost. Due to COVID-19 issue for long 5 days, Dialysis was stopped in TMC led the kidney patients' critical condition. In such situation when Gauri Deb was taken to TMC, they kept her for a day and then asked the patient party to shift ILS or GB. Govt Employees Federation has strongly criticized the Govt over the attitude of the govt as previously, the Left Govt used to give 5% DA twice in a year.
