Journalists of Tripura led by Assembly of Journalists have staged an agitation against the increasing attacks on media, press there. The issue of their protest was centered against CM Biplab Deb's threatening speech to media where he said he will not forgive a section of media who are doing anti-govt news based on COVID-19 mismanagement. Tripura Assembly of Journalists said that media world is now heavily concerned over the statement came from Chief Minister Biplab Deb during his Sabroom speech where he openly threatened media.After Chief Minister's statement, atleast two journalists have been brutally attacked and injured physically. The list also includes Engineers, Nurses and various other dept’s passed out candidates also. The Jatiyotabadi Nursing Association has recently revealed that around 5,500 nursing passout candidates are left jobless in Tripura. The Association has demanded, Tripura Govt must recruit 3000 nurses immediately. In state, also the nurses’ numbers are very less, which is a violation of the health guidelines, said the Association. Tripura BJP Political Crisis : Biplab De | AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): With the increasing trouble for Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb over the rivalry among own party MLAs against him, the BJP party in State now has directed all Ministers to address once in a month before the party workers at BJP State Headquarter in Krishnanagar and to discuss about Govt's good works in last 2 and half years. Hathras Rape Incident : Tripura CPI-M ta | New Delhi, Oct 13 (TIWN) The CPI-M Party in Tripura hit out at the Uttar Pradesh government stating that the burial of the gang-rape victim in Hathras without her family''s consent was a "blatant denial of justice". A rally was organized in Agartala city seeking justice to the victim. At the same time, the party also has raised question on Tripura's law and order. In a press statement, the Politburo of the ÇPI(M) said the "barbaric caste based rape" is "reflective of the utter lawlessness" in the northern state. The 19-year-old Dalit woman was raped in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras by four men on September 14. Tripura SSA, RMSA Teachers to go in mass | AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Tripura BJP led State Govt which was very sympathetic towards SSA, RMSA teachers before 2018 election and promised to regularize them in BJP’s written script of “Vision Documentâ€, has recently taken U-Turn to its stand and said, SSA’s regularization is complicated due to various reasons and at the same time blamed the previous Govt. Now, SSA and RMSA teachers will revolt back and hoist mass protests. When an SSA teacher filed case in High Court for regularization, Tripura Govt was okay in its stand at the initial level but it soon changed its stand and submitted fresh affidavit in January saying, regularization is not possible for now. This incident has generated much resentments among the teachers of SSA.Reportedly, the Govt submitted affidavit was cancelled by the High Court in the case. On 27th January in a bench of Justice A.
