The issue raised after in High Court Advocate General Arun Bhomwik said that Rs. 1,500 to COVID-19 patients was decision of the Chief Minister, not of Tripura Govt. But, data says, Tripura CM had told the Assembly about this, which may lead charges against the CM for lies and also he told PM Modi during his Delhi visit that Rs. 1,500 is given to the Home isolated patients. On October 5, in a shocking remark to the High Court, Advocate General Arun Bhowmik reportedly has said that Rs. 1,500 to home quarantined people was CM's announcement but not State Govt's decision.
