‘Tripura has 2.92 lakhs 3 layer ma | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 24 (TIWN): Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nath on Thursday has announced that state has sufficient numbers of medical kits and there are enough stocks already in hands. While briefing media on COVID19 status, the Minister said, “Tripura has 3 layers of masks at the numbers of 2 lakhs 92 thousands, N95 masks over 13 thousand, PPE-9271, hand gloves-9 lakhs 70 thousands. Sanitizers also are at massive quantity with 100 ml, 4,400 bottles, 500 ml, 400 bottles etc with other equipment. Rapid Anti-Body tests for COVID19 has already started in Tripura from Thursday.For the purpose, 3,800 kits have come to the state and among them 3,700 kits were already distributed. Total 150 collection centres are now opened in Tripura. 330 designated collectors from medical officers to lab technician have been deployed. Containment level testing with approximate numbers of 600 through rapid anti-body tests started in Udaipur, Damchara. More equipments are on process of arrival. Lockdown 2.0, Day-8 observed in Tripura | AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): COVID19 2nd phase nationwide Lockdown was observed on Day-8 here in Tripura under heavy security and tight checking. State Home Ministry has instructed Police Dept to keep tight watch on the public/vehicle movement to ensure no violation of social distancing. SP led massive drive across City as Lock | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 22 (TIWN): After massive gatherings were reported in small markets of the capital city Agartala and rickshaw drivers, other vehicle drivers came out of home breaking lockdown protocols on Tuesday, SP West Manik Das along with NCC PS and other local police stations’ police personnel visited across the city, took action against law violators on Wednesday. The sudden raid against mass gathering held at surprise visits in various market places, highways and even in small area-wide. Police also gave last warning to many drivers not to break Govt regulations, when Govt has already allocated free rations and financial helps to rickshaw drivers. Actions were taken against few law violators by noting down vehicle numbers. On being asked by media, what action has been taken against law violators, SP West, Manik Das replied that proper actions are being taken against all law violators and nobody will be pardoned if continue gathering. COVID19 : Tripura Govt orders Tests of a | AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): Massive testing process goes on in Tripura amid COVID19 Pandemic worldwide. Leaving no stone unturned, Tripura Health dept continues methods development on COVID19 tests. AMC is also taking initiative for rapid testing and Govt of Tripura has ordered tests of all Home Quarantined people. Swab testing kits also have arrived in Tripura, are being used as testing process. Already before this, in local methods, the Health Dept held various tests and random testing of 2000 people are being taken place. Tripura earlier tested total 2 COVId19 positive patients and both are stable. Asymptomatic patients will be compulsorily quarantined for 14 days, but their swab test will not be collected immediately.
