Tripura turns ‘COVID-Free’ state as Second patient tested Negative

AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): In a big development in battle against COVID 19, Northeast state Tripura's Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced the state as COVID-Free after the second patient of Tripura was tested negative.

In a tweet, CM announced, “The Second corona patient of Tripura has been found NEGATIVE after consecutive tests. Hence our State has become Corona free. I request everyone to maintain Social distancing and follow Government guidelines. Stay Home Stay Safe”.

“I thank all the Doctors, Healthcare staffs, all front line Warriors & public for making Tripura a Corona free state. By maintaining social distancing and proper guidelines we shall try our best to maintain this”, CM added.

Total 2 persons were tested positive in COVID19 and both are now tested negative giving a status to the state as "COVID-FREE".
