Badal Chowdhury is ‘NOT’ do | AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Although calling a press conference, BJP Minister Ratanlal Nath announced that CPI-M former Minister Badal Chowdhury was doing drama of illness and even Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed the same in public programmes, but court’s judgement today has sealed critical condition of Badal Chowdhury which he undergone in last few weeks from ILS to GB hospital and 'yet to fully recover'. Court has permitted police remand for Badal Chowdhury so that police can interrogate him properly but the plan which BJP Govt did to put Badal Chowdhury into lockup could not be succeeded as Court has ordered police to arrange a separate room for Badal Chowdhury where from fan to bathroom all facilities will be available along with ned and by maintaining proper medical care, regular Doctor's checkup. Also in the judgement it was said that in the name of medical checkup, Badal Chowdhury should not be taken out of that room but doctors will come here and everyday Doctors must visit there to see Badal Chowdhury. BJP Minister equally accused in alleged | AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): BJP Minister Ratanlal Nath who was in Congress as the opposition leader in Tripura is accused of equally involved in the alleged PWD scam of 2008.Congress leader Subal Bhowmik demanded arrest of Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath in the same case against former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury. Police remand plea of BJP Govt on hold, | AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Nov 8 (TIWN): Former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury today raised allegation of "murder conspiracy" against him in the Court during the hearing in a politically motivated case filed against him by BJP Govt in construction works of 2008-09 under the Left Govt. Court on Friday, on the medical ground and based on Badal Chowdhury's arguments, kept the Police custody plea of Govt side on hold and again on November 11, the hearing will be pronounced. Till then, the former Minister to stay in Jail custody for 3 days under 100% medical care and Court also directed police and the administration to give Badal Chowdhury the deserved respect according to his designation and social reputation. The price of onion in the city vegetable markets has shot up to Rs 80 to Rs 100 per kg, the highest in the season. A retailer in the city told media that the prices have jumped probably due to shortage of stock. “There is no rule for selling the price in retail. The retailers may charge anything from Rs 80 to Rs 100,†a customer added, whereas another customer supported the sellers saying, “What is their fault if import is at loss. When under political interest of a section of people in committee a school teacher of Chataria was transferred, innocent students came in massive protest to stop the transfer of their favorite teacher. When BJP tagged teachers were happy over the transfer of teacher Krishnapada Das, innocent students of Chataria school (Udaipur, Tripura) were seen crying over transfer of their favourite teacher Krishnapada Das, who was the most efficient teacher in the school. Such incident exposed how under Minister Ratanlal Nath honest people are getting transfer orders whereas BJP backed committee has forced the teacher's transfer. Many students became ill while protesting but the teacher was forced to leave the school immediately by the Headmistress.
