AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Jishnu Debbarma’s son Pratik Debbarma’s name came under a scam for appointing his friend Bidyot Debbarma in a Union, who later turned as a fraud.

The issue came after allegation raised against Baramura Labour Union’s authority, a private organization.

Bidyut Debbarma, Shekar Koloi, Shakar Rupini under the name of the Union collected around Rs. 30 lakhs from the public.

They promised either they will be given a job or they will be given loans for farming or similar works but nothing could be given by them till now led the public to express rages against them.

A meeting was called in the Baramura park and the Union members told them that their moneys can’t be returned.

Later, Shekhar Koloi told the public that Jishnu Debbarma’s son Pratik Debbarma himself appointed Bidyut Debbarma as the President of the Union.
