AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): The residents of Udaipur's Sukhsagar area are demanding the construction of a road that has been in a dilapidated state for years. Despite repeated promises from local leaders and politicians, the road remains unrepaired, causing immense hardship to the residents.

The area is home to over 40 families who rely on agriculture for their livelihood. The lack of a proper road has made it difficult for them to transport their produce to the market, resulting in significant economic losses.

The residents have appealed to the current MLA and Finance Minister, who had promised to construct the road using the MLA's fund in 2013. However, the promise remains unfulfilled, and the residents are now seeking the government's immediate attention to their plight.

The residents have expressed frustration and disappointment, stating that they are unable to lead a normal life due to the poor condition of the road. They have demanded that the government construct the road at the earliest and fulfill the promises made by the MLA.
