JOLAIBARI, Feb 1 (TIWN): Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Wednesday while addressing CPI-M’s rally in Jolaibari slammed the BJP backed bike-gang which has turned lives miserable. Sarkar also advised the Bike Gang and goons of BJP to seek apology from the people and it’s too not late. Addressing the occasion, Sarkar said, “The youths who are engaged in attacking the people, they are not aware of what they are doing. Their parents can’t be happy with their activities but they are brainwashed and beyond control. I want to tell you, still there are times for your correction. If you do not correct yourself how will you show your face before the people after they poll?"
"You will not be able to come out of your home. It is not because anyone will be attacking you but because of your misdeeds you will suffer. You are destroying yourself. Where are those Missed Call jobs ? What happened to the promises given to you about before the poll?”, he added.
Manik Sarkar further slammed BJP for its fake promises given before 2018 election to the voters of Tripura.
Sarkar said, “BJP before 2018 poll said that all the vacant posts will be filled up within a year but what happened to that promise ? Similarly, so many fake promises were done and then after winning poll, the Govt targeted to keep the voice of the people suppressed by using all forces and mechanism”.
A massive rally was organized in Jolaibari by CPI-M in support of CPI-M candidate Debendra Tripura.
