Agartala, Sep 21 (TIWN): West Agartala Police have achieved a significant breakthrough in a series of theft cases reported from different parts of the city, with four people arrested in connection with the incidents.

The investigation began following the reported theft of an auto-rickshaw from the Krishnanagar area. During the probe, police traced leads that allegedly connected the suspects to other theft incidents in Agartala.

Police have recovered the stolen auto-rickshaw along with a motorcycle believed to be linked to the theft cases.

The four arrested individuals are now being questioned as part of the investigation. Police said further details may emerge as the probe progresses.

West Agartala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sanjit Sen provided details of the operation and the arrests.
