Another such massive scam exposed before Tripura Assembly Election in Tripura regarding construction works. The incident took place at Khayerpur, Kathal-Tila construction site where a new bridge was underway and on Wednesday morning it had collapsed. The construction started under former CM cum PWD Minister Biplab Deb who had brought modification in the tendering system. That is another matter that Biplab Deb’s some of the relatives were benefited with double license to such business deals through the backdoor. But who will take the liability of this scam ?

CPI-M former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury was arrested, kept in jail without any evidence and the senior, bed-ridden CPI-M leader was brutally tortured regarding tendering matter whereas no construction damage or scam was held, but what will be this Double-Engine Govt’s review about this scam nowhere the bridge had collapsed in Khayerpur, the constituency of Biplab Deb's close-coterie MLA cum Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty ?

Biplab Deb was sacked from CM post on May 14, 2022 followed by scam allegations and other serious charges against him. Now another feather in the cap of the scam-load was added with the collapse of bridge construction.
