AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): On Friday evening, the hanging body of a 23-year-old student named Paramita Debbarma was recovered from a rented house in Krishnanagar Padmapukur area under East Women PS.

It is known that a College student named Paramita Debbarma, a resident of Bishramganj area has been residing and studying in a rented house in Padmapukur area in Krishnanagar for the last 2 years. The house owner, noticing the closed door of her room since morning, informed West Women PS, the Police accordingly rushed to the spot, broke the door of the house and found the hanging body of the girl.

The news was given to her parents later, the student’s parents rushed to the spot and broke into tears after seeing the dead body of their daughter.

The dead body of Paramita Debbarma was handed over to her family after post mortem at GB Hospital on Saturday. The student's father complained that the student could not have committed suicide. He alleged that she was killed and hanged after the rape.

He also said that the whole matter will come out only when the police interrogate and investigate the owner of the house. Besides, he demanded a proper investigation of the incident.
