AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) top leaders have visited Tripura, met Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Thursday.
It happened after a controversial statement came from CM Biplab Deb naming Home Minister Amit Shah.
BJP's North-East zonal secretary Ajay Jamwal, and RSS's regional in-charge Ullas Kulkarni and state in-charge Nikhil Niwaskar reportedly met the Chief Minister.
BJP State President also has been summoned to Delhi, although, State BJP in a press release said that the State President will visit Delhi for an annual party meeting.
Sources said, Biplab Deb not only affected foreign ties with neighboring countries but he involved Amit Shah in his speech who is the core of BJP's image and also India's incumbent Home Minister. This incident happened when majority of the BJP MLAs sought a replacement of Biplab Deb in the CM post, who has divided the Govt and the Party due to his poor experience and arrogant style of operating everything.
