Many Passengers did not get seats in Aga | AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Passengers faced lots of harassments in Agartala-Silchar Special Train after multiple passengers were given tickets with same ticket numbers. Many passengers did not get seats and were bound to keep on standing throughout the route. Centering this incident, heavy resentment erupted among the passengers who did not get seats due to the error of the Railway employees. A passenger who was going from Agartala to Silchar said, "We booked tickets for Silchar special train. But it was noticed that for D-7 bogie's seats, 4 to 5 tickets were distributed. As a result many passengers are going by standing and I am too bound to go by standing". Another passenger said, "I will go to Agartala to Silchar and so bought two tickets at Rs. 130. My seat numbers are 83, 84 for bogie D-5. Ticket No- 17002035 has been distributed among 10 passengers. On the one side, Deb is criticizing sacked Minister Sudip Roy Barman without taking name in his everyday speeches alleging he (Sudip Roy Barman) is result of 'Paribar Tantra' of Congress and on the other side, BJP State President Dr. Manik Saha has almost turned the former President Biplab Deb's personal-assistant. Manik Saha has totally failed to unite the BJP party and thus today also, he was seen with Biplab Deb in a programme which was conducted by BJP's unit for IT cell training but no other BJP MLA, Minister was seen with Biplab Deb there and IT cell raised slogan "We support Biplab Deb". This "We support Biplab Deb" trend was initiated by the IT cell after the faction raised the slogan "Biplab Hatao, Tripura Bachao" slogan. 7th Pay Commission a far dream for Tripu | AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Since BJP Govt has taken charge, massive pending DAs have erupted resentment among the Govt employees and heavy anger aroused among the teachers who did not get a single DA since BJP Govt in power, whereas earlier annually twice DA was given. Opposition parties leaders have lashed out at the BJP over pending DAs after merely 0.32% hike in the name of 7th Pay Commission. BJP pre-poll speeches, advertisements are viral in social media now. 'Qualified TET Teachers under One-Time B | AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Wednesday after a cabinet meeting announced that the teachers who will get appointment after qualifying TET examinations but don't have B.Ed degree will not get equal benefits as B.Ed holders. Moreover, they have to complete their B.Ed by two years and how would they complete their B.Ed, it's upto them and Govt will try to give them post near (District Institute Of Education and Training) DIET colleges but it's not sure. Ratanlal Nath said, "Those who have utilized the One-Time-Relaxation for B.Ed by cracking TET examination will get appointments. Central Govt by maintaining law, had given this relaxation. But although Centre said, State Govt has to convert it into law. So, their appointments will be under terms and conditions that by two years, they have to complete their B.Ed degrees, otherwise they will not get full benefits. Ex-Congress MLA Gopal Roy's house Illega | AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Illegal raids, tortures on common men have already become a part of daily incidents under Biplab Deb's Home Ministry in Tripura. In such an incident, former Congress MLA Gopal Roy's house was raided illegally by huge numbers of police forces after he filed an FIR against CM Biplab Deb for spreading fake news on COVID-19. After Gopal Roy filed a case against CM Biplab Deb, police sought raid permission for Gopal Roy's home from the Court citing Gopal Roy used an old paper from his MLA time's pad but he is no more an MLA. Gopal Roy has been a renowned figure of the city, lawyer and also a senior citizen but police's illegal entry to his home, harassment to him and his family sparked massive controversy. Congress State President Pijush Biswas, who is a senior advocate of Tripura High Court was standing outside Gopal Roy's home but police had locked the main gate of Gopal Roy's home from inside so that nobody can enter. Centering this undemocratic action of Police, a case was filed in High Court and Tripura Govt was issued a notice by the High Court. Minister Ratanlal Nath starts upgrading | AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): After Tripura Cabinet Reshuffling news was published in state and national media stating that Centre is unhappy over few Ministers' performances, the Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has visited West Dist Court and spent time with Bar Association members. Addressing media, Ratanlal Nath said that as he was not visiting the Association office for many days, thus has decided to meet the members personally. He inspected the court premises, noted down the infrastructural crisis. On being asked by media about the reason behind this visit, Nath said, "I did not visit the Bar Association for a long time. They went to me but I told them that I will personally visit there. There are lot of crisis in the Bar Association and we have to work on that. Still now, the Bar's land is under Govt but now a legal solution should come out of that either via lease or allotment. This land should be given to bar".
