PANISAGAR, Feb 12 (TIWN): 159 BN BSF has conducted various activities including three months Computer coaching classes for the 25 wards of border population besides carrying out maintenance of street lights, school building, anganbari and community hall in border areas.
The students who have completed 12th classes were given computer coaching at CSC Computer Education centre at Dharmanagar, which is an authorized study Centre of Nation Board of Computer Education.
Repair and Maintenance of school building was carried out at Baithangbari, Kailaigiri and Maheshpur.
The villagers have appreciated the efforts of BSF as it has directly benefitted the border population. The commandant 159 Bn BSF has said that these activities are chosen in consultation with border population to meet their functional requirement and to facilitate their day to day activities.
BSF regularly conduct these activities under civic action program.
