AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): An oil tanker hit at least two shops, sparking tension in the locality in Netaji Chowmuhani, Kumarghat.
Many vehicles including four bikes, three tomtoms were also damaged due to the incident.
The oil tanker bearing number plate TR 01 AA 1693 was allegedly in reckless mode when it suddenly hit the shops. Two persons also received minor injuries in the incident.
Getting information, Kumarghat police rushed to the spot and detained the driver.
Due to the accident, heavy traffic jams had occurred in the place.
