Hindu Devotees Performed Annual Ritual on Shiva Chaturdashi ; Rushes Across Temples in Tripura

AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): Water, flowers, sandals, milk — the devotees offered to Lord Shiva in various temples on the occasion of Maha-Shiva Ratri.
Thousands of people gathered in Shiva temples to be part of annual rituals which they call – Shiva Ratri.
According to a priest at Battala Shiva temple, the “tithi” started at 4.30 PM on Sunday and will end by 5.34 PM on Monday.
The rituals continue all day and night with some breaks, he said.
