Illegal constructions abolished at Agartala

AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has kicked off eviction drive across the Capital City.
A Govt team led by SDM S Chowdhury on Thursday had abolished all the illegal properties as shops, houses at Melarmath premises.
Although the local people exploded out of anger, but they had nothing to do as the constructions were settled over Govt lands.
Those lands will be now used in other developmental works.
However, local people also raised question why the Govt is not abolishing various CITU offices and other CPI-M backed organizations, party offices across Agartala City ?
