SONAMURA, July 25 (TIWN): With the incessant rainfalls since last few days, 3 years old road under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sarak Yojna, that constructed by local contractor has been collapsed at Sonamura.

The local contractor has been identified as Kishore Roy.

The road was made before 3 years at Bejimara but the quality of the work was bad since the beginning.

Evenafter multiple complaints nobody inspected the work resulted the road has turned a death prone area, citing example of rural development under Tripura Govt. 

Resentment have brewed among the locals.
