AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury chaired a meeting with Transport Department Officials on Monday, and inspected the ongoing projects under the department.

Contractors of various projects of the Transport Department also attended the meeting.

Addressing the media at the Secretariat, Chowdhury said that various works are going on in the perfect speed whereas few need to speed up – overall the Minister found everything is on track.

He also mentioned, the Finance Department has allocated sufficient funds this year – would be helpful to proceed the developmental works.
