AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): IPFT Chief N C Debbarma may go through hard times, as a new separatist party Tripraland State Party (TSP) has emerged in Tripura in a fresh mode, that was registered under Election Commission of India with the Registration No : 56/ 199/ 2015-17/ TPS-I. Addressing a press conference, the party president Chittaranjan Debbarma said, "We also support the demand of Tripraland, but in real sense. The blockade at Baramura that was withdrawn on July 20, saying that Central Govt had a talk with the party leaders was just a way to fool the indigenous people by the tribal leaders. They did wrong by telling lie to the Tipraland aspirants". On August 23rd the party members will observe "Tipraland Demand Day" in this regard. With the announcement of Chittaranjan Debbarma question raising, will N C Debbarma loose his support from the indigenous people with Chitaranjan Debbarma's arrival ?
However, politics with Tipraland that has been strengthen ahead of Assembly Election-2018, will it continue once the election is end ?.....this is the biggest question now discussing from mouth to mouth.
Tipraland is the name of a proposed state, within the TTAADC, under articles 2 and 3 of the Indian Constitution is demanded by a political party known as Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) as one of their political agenda, but now with the new faces have been introduced the issue is turning quite political than the actual demand. On the other side IPFT has also two divisions, another is leading by Budhu Debbarma, Aghore Debbarma. Also a case is going on in the High Court to define 'IPFT actually belong to whom ?'
