AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN): Agartala-Udaipur main road was blocked by CNG run vehicle drivers following a 12-day-long CNG crisis in the Capital City.
A massive chaos occurred in the office hours when the unannounced road blockade was organized by the demanders at 10.30 AM.
Talking to the drivers, who blocked road infront of Badharghat CNG station, they told TIWN that since 12 days state is undergoing acute CNG crisis and whenever the drivers come for CNG it's known that the pressure is less resulting 8 to 9 hours of killing in CNG lines.
The agitators also said that within a gap of week the CNG crisis haunts back Tripura.
The other CNG Stations also following a tight-schedule of 8 AM to 8 PM CNG supply, whereas the number of CNG stations are very less in here.
The agitators demanded a change in the schedule of other CNG StationS and to build more numbers of new CNG Stations in Tripura to curb the CNG-tension as for CNG collection, the drivers are wasting a whole day in the long rows.
The blockade continued for around 2 hours long and SDM S Choudhury arrived the spot and talked to the protesters.
