AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): Whereas statewide various allegations are raising about the Doctors quality in Tripura following various deaths of patients due to doctor’s negligence, Tripura Health Minsiter Badal Choudhury on Wednesday announced that there is no need of TPSE or and any kind of competitive examination, but with the submission of MBBS certificates, anyone will get job under Tripura Govt. “Tripura Govt will provide jobs to all MBBS degree holders”, announced Choudhury. However, Tripura has thousands of unemployed engineers too, but the Govt has not kept any special quota for them. The issue raised when opposition MLA Gopal Roy questioned about how many doctors are in Tripura Govt Hospitals and till July 2016 how many doctors were appointed. However, agreeing the fact that there is an acute shortage of doctors Health Minister announced that any person with MBBS degree will get job under state govt. However, the doctors shortage have been reported from maximum hospitals in Tripura resulting crisis in the health service.

But without any competitive exam recruitment of doctor and promotion as per reservation policy to create resentment among the doctors too.

Already due to wrong recruitment policy, state govt is undergoing many challenges. Since Tripura High Court was established in 2013, Tripura Govt have been received one after one notices from the Court for violating the recruitment policy. This incidents had proven the continuous defiance of various job related policies under Tripura Govt, which filled up the vacancies of TCS, TPS posts with CPI-M family members.

Even in 2016, March Tripura High Court  terminated services of 34 assistant professors recruited by the state government and asked it to arrange fresh recruitment process into the post.

On the other hand, there is no option for engineers in Tripura. Allegation raised from a section senior engineers that sidelining the Engineers has been done fully planwise. Till 70’s Era the Executive Engineering post was greater than a DM or a Director. But presently the post of an Superintending Engineer ranks below than the SDM level. Thus one can imagine the rank of the Asst Engineer, Junior Engineers posts in Tripura.

However, this to bring much happiness for the unemployed doctors in Tripura.
