AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Amidst declining era of Tripura Pradesh Congress, on Sunday Agartala City was heated up when the party held a rally at Jail-field near Purbasha.

The rally was leaded by Congress MLA Gopal Roy and youth Congress leaders. National Congress leader Sushmita Deb also remained present at there.

 Calling PM Modi ‘a lair’, terming Modi Govt as ‘Anti-people’ and ‘Anti-poor’ Tripura Pradesh Congress has titled the rally as ‘Jana Bedan Sanmelan’.

 The protest was mainly objected against demonetization, cashless-transaction, agriculture policy, economic policy, alleged Birala scam anti-constitutional activity allegedly led by NDA Govt.

A huge number of Congress supporters from various subdivisions of the state had joined the rally.
