AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): Tripura Rural Development officials performances are getting down day after day and delays in payment has been reported much more in last 3 yrs. Tripura Govt failed to submit audit report to the Central Ministry in due time which created much debates between Tripura RD Dept and Central RD Dept, forced the Central Govt to cut the fund allocation percentage also. But after that at High Court many cases was filed by opposition parties and others which led the HC to order the state govt to submit proper audit report.As a part of transparency of fund expenditure under Modi Govt Tripura Govt published block-wise performances in its website. But nothing is 100 % clear there as since last 3 yrs the tally has become unmatched with the earlier Financial Years of 2012-13 & 2013-14.Pecharthal Block’s performance has not differed much than the other blocks. Reportedly, at Unakoti Block : PECHARTHAL Panchayat’s NALKATA 595 Job-Cards were issued, total number of Workers are 1,101, whereas SC workers’ number is 2.13 % ST only 35.25 %.

The mandays have also been drastically downed in last financial year. Whereas in 2012-13 it was 57,161 in 2013-14 it was 39,347 and in 2014-15 it was 41,943 and in 2015-16 it was 52,042 and in 2016-17 it downed to 28,407.

This shows that the direct beneficiary, Geo-tracking could really bring some affect with much more transparent mode of fund expenditure and operation.  

Material and skilled Wages(Rs. In Lakhs) whereas in 2012 it showed as 7.05 %, in 2016 it came up as 1.9.

Under 12th passed RD Minister Naresh Jamamtia the MGNREGA performance of state is downing day by day, but still CM Manik Sarkar has hold him to his position. Sources said that Naresh Jamatia may also removed from the Ministry in this election, allegedly due to a womanizing case where Jamatia found actively engaged.

Tripura MGNREGA corruptions are reported during the whole year. Pecharthal, Bishalgarh, Gomati Dist---not a single place can be found which to be untouched by REGA scams but  the demand for MGNREGA fund’s hike will not be ended.

In 2016, month of November  High Court expressed extreme displeasure in the incomplete MGNREGA works. On that time Congress spokesman and eminent physician Ashok Sinha, lawyer Ashish Nandi and Trinamool Congress leader Arun Chandra Bhowmik, sought a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in Tripura.

 High Court Chief Justice T. Vaiphei and Justice Subhashish Talapatra asked the government to conduct audit in 58 blocks. However, High Court also rejected the demand for a CBI probe, and directly asked the government to conduct an audit in all 58 blocks of the state vis-a-vis MGNREGA scheme to ensure ‘transparency’.
