KAILASHAHAR, Feb 11 (TIWN): Allegation came against Chandipur Block BDO illegally keeping a private maruti van in rent.

Reportedly, as per law Commercial vehicle can be kept in Govt Offices. But the present BDO Pradip Debbarma is just showing no interest about all the problems of the office.

However, he said recently that the tender for vehicle hiring was cancelled by the DM on last August.

But the dept didn’t feel it necessary to inform Anuj Roy, the person who got the tender. As a result he has knocked the door of court.

Source said that since 2014, the vehicle of Biswajit Dutta was kept in the office, which was a private vehicle.

Violating the Govt rule the car was hired but later an advertisement was given in daily newspaper after following bundles of complaints.

Then Anuj Roy’s vehicle was selected under the advertisement and driver at office is also getting the salary 5 months. But his vehicles yet to bring under the office premises.

This incident has created much resentment among the locals.
