AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Political propaganda instead of history teaching has raised criticism Bengal-wide after Mamata Banerjee introduced Singur move where Mamata Banerjee, Mukul Roy & other Trinamool leaders are all in all. The real history’s removal in case of Tripura was much faster than Bengal. In Tripura Class-IX History book chapters, were replaced with political interference and the CPI-M backed publishers. Instead of Indian Freedom Fighters History, Hitlar, Lelin, Karl Marx occupied the syllabus, although Mahatma Gandhi got certain spaces for his opinion about cricket. After removing reference to Lord Ram accusing it’s BJP’s direct interference she herself has occupied the history books. Terming the Singur agitation "historic", the chapter describes Mamata Banerjee as the leader who organised the anti-land acquisition movement and gave a direction to the farmers' struggle.

The movement helped end the evil attempt to establish a factory for the one lakh rupee car project over land fertile for multiple crops, a move aimed at industrialisation for development and job creation", quotes a line from the chapter prescribed for class-VIII. 

In Tripura because of the power factor CPI-Ms have also moulded the syllabus under TBSE in Marxists thought.

On last June 28, addressing the press meet BJP Spokesperson Prasenjit Chakraborty told media that, “TBSE has published Class-9 history books with Parul Prakashani and these books have already been distributed to various schools”. But those books which are providing in various schools and students are gathering knowledge out of these books,---unfortunately the books have nothing except Lenin and French revolution and a chapter with Hitler’s biography’.

Whereas the first chapter is named as French Revolution (1789), the second chapter is for, ‘Colonial Law’, the 3rd Chapter is for ‘History and Sports’, the 4th Chapter- “Russian Revolution and its affect, Nazism and the emerge of Hitler’, and the 5th Chapter is—New agricultural law in England. BJP raised question on that time, ‘Why CPI-M has chosen Lenin instead of any Freedom fighter from Indian History  who could occupy the front page’?

What surprises is that not only CPI-M and TMC but the BJP government in Rajasthan also may add a chapter on demonetisation and cashless economy in Class 12 Economics textbooks from the next academic session in the state.

 Thus question  raised, why in India the over democracy has been opened for the ruling parties, which directly affecting the students Education.
