AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Whereas Tripura Govt till day claims that Tripura is in number 1 position in MGNREGA work-completion and mandays distribution but with the performance report's publication under MGNREGA, the reality has once again exposed. The central report clearly depicts that Tripura’s achievement in Category B work under MGNREGA is only 5 %, whereas Karnataka, Odissa, West Bengal is with 67 %, 53 % and 53 % respectively. Whereas Meghalaya is in No. 15 with score of 19 %, Assam in 20 with 17 %, Manipur & Arunachal with 14 %, Nagaland 6 % but being the last Tripura scores only 5 %. The total works taken up 134177 but the completed work was 7282 only with stands only 5 %. Just in last month Manik Sarkar said that Tripura is in 1st position for MGNREGA works but the report revealed a different reality.

Tripura Govt did as much as possible with its fake highest MGNREGA man-days records but the govt could not hold it for a long as the Joint Secretary of Rural Development Aparajita Sarangi unmasked the real face of Manik Sarkar’s rural dept under Principal Secretary GSG Ayyangar and warned the Rural Development Dept of Tripura to fill up the gap between the published development and the original work done here.

With the aim of fund allocation, the Tripura Govt was increasing its fake man-days record in its websites and also without any fear sent to the central govt. That time Tripura CM asked Aparajita Sarangi to make a documentary on Tripura’s rural development. But that activity resulted in horrifying as Tripura Govt was slashed by MGNREGA funds as the original record of work development was around 33 % whereas the govt showed it around 85 %.

Surprisingly in 2016-17 also the work completion percentage is only 9.31 %.  The total taken works were 710,107 but the completed work was 66.087 only.

Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt turned various central schemes into organized corruptions, mass lootings of thousands of crores. From Bishalgarh RD block to Rupaichari and many others RD blocks witnessed CPI-M’s mass corruptions. Day by day all the doors are closing for any corruption with Central Funds as Modi Govt decided to directly transfer money to the beneficiaries accounts.
