Tripura gets new Chief Secretary

AGARTALA, Jan 31 (TIWN): With the retirement of Yashpal Singh, Sanjib Ranjan has taken charge as the new Chief Secretary of Tripura.
The state government on Tuesday made a notification in this regard.
At Secretariat Yashpal Singh handed over the charge to the new Chief Secretary Sanjib Ranjan.
IAS officer Yashpal Singh in 2015, April 1st had taken over as the new the Chief Secretary of Tripura. He has been retired on Tuesday.
Chief Secretary Yashpaul Singh will take charge as the chairman of the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
Sanjib Ranjan an M-T cadre IAS officer of 1985 batch was the Joint Secretary to the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.
Sanjib Ranjan is the 23rd Chief Secretary of Tripura.
