AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): "Investigation is going in full wave against chit fund cases", claimed Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday at Assembly. The issue was raised by Opposition MLA Sudip Barman in the Assembly when he asked, “Years have been passed in the name of investigation, why CPI-M govt is not calling for direct CBI inquiry on this chit fund case”. Manik Sarkar replied, “Please hold for sometimes more, we have to figure out the whole amount which have been looted by the chit fund companies from the common people”. However, about the amount Sarkar could not say anything and diverted the issue to the Finance Dept. Following that action of Sarkar Sudip Barman told him that his role is fictitious. Sarkar further said, “We do not have any problem if CBI inquiry is held. Not only Rose Valley, but there are many companies which looted the public money”.

It’s worthy to mention here that after Madan Mitra’s fate witnessed by West Bengal people, now CPI-M Politicians are in much trouble in Tripura as CBI may run direct investigation into Rose Valley Chit Fund scam held in Tripura under CPI-M regime.

Rose Valley is  7 times more ponzi scam than Sarada and country’s highest ever chit fund group, but eventhough opposition party’s raised voice to run direct CBI investigation in Tripura Rose Valley scam, but at the ruling showed never interest in it, rather it preferred Tripura Police, SIT in it.

After the failure of Tripura Police, High Court ordered SIT to submit fresh report on the chit fund scams. But crossing the last date for submission of  chargesheet, SIT has miserably shown its capacity for investigation. Day by day the data, sources are losing but Tripura Govt is happy with the slow progress of SIT investigation.

Congress, BJP, TMC held many protest rally demanding of money return to the deprived people.

In 2014-2015, CBI Joint Director of Eastern Region Rajib Singh who is also a former Inspector General of Tripura Police Rajib Singh has worked in favour of CPI-M as Tripura’s CM and Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath were allegedly involved  in that multi-crore scam.

CBI at West Bengal’s didn’t bothered to send ruling party Leaders like Madan Mitra into jail for 21 months,

but CPI-M Ministers anyhow trying to end the Rose Valley issue in Tripura.

But presently no action is taking against Tripura’s massive chit fund frauds as SIT again fails to submit chargesheet on July 31st  at High Court.  All of the 70 chit fund cases lying dead under SIT.

But the direct CBI investigation if started soon may bring few hopes in the development of the investigation.
