AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Although everyone knows that Tripura CM Manik Sarkar’s mobile phone remains with his PA, but when opposition raised question over CPI-M’s fake-mask behind Anti-Digitalization, the to prove himself as the highest saint of CPI-M in whole India, he said, 'I have no mobile phone'. The issue raised in Tripura Assembly when CPI-M voiced against ‘Cashless-Economy’ and said all these Digital-India mission, cashless economy are bogus propagation of PM Modi. Digitalization, too much modern technology are very harmful to the society, said by some of the CPI-M members. Whereas Minister Bijita Nath, Badal Chowdhury, CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar all are using WhatsApp, many are in face book but while delivering speech they express much hatred for the Digital-world. Congress MLA Ratan Lal Nath told Manik Sarkar, “In Rajib Gandhi’s time also when computer introduced in India CPI-M held massive protest, but now all are moving with mobile phones in their pockets....!”

Manik Sarkar gave an dumb answer, “I do not have any mobile phone. I don’t use mobile phone”.

However, what Manik Sarkar wants to proof by his digitally ignorance only he knows. By his speech he only has given a selfish answer which has although saved himself from the allegation, but nothing he said supporting his comrades who are in highly digital world”.

He later said, “how can a cashless society will be created, without enough number of banks”?‘In case of Tripura, do we have enough number of banks? Where the poor people will go?’, said Sarkar.

‘Demonetization just has created an Economic-Disorder. No other country took such a sudden decision. From the beginning we were very clear against the demonetization step taken by the central govt and I’m strict to it’, he added.

“Let the small notes run till the fresh notes comes. The country is undergoing a cashless situation.. business under huge loss, many people died. Unless and until the pumping of notes are there, let the old notes be usable atleast till 30thDec”.

“In whole world, apart from Sweden not country took such a step, whereas the Americans who are considered as number 1 in economics, didn’t take such a decision. If a cashless society is made, then banks need in more numbers here. India has very less banks, including Tripura”, he added.

However, CM's anti-digital speech again has proven  CPI-M a party of morally bankrupt leaders who cannot forego any electronic luxury  but barks against  modern technology.
